ANCZYC Wladyslaw LudwikANCZYC, Wladyslaw Ludwik,1823-83, father of Waclaw Zygmunt, author of patriotic verse associated with the 1846 Cracow Revolution and the 1863 Polish Insurrection, and of Chlopi arystokraci (Peasant Aristocrats, staged 1849) and Kosciuszko pod Raclawicami (Kosciuszko at the Battle of Raclawice, staged 1880), plays on peasant themes; founded a printing house in Cracow in 1875.
