Sosnowski has created an entirely original and seductively poetic form of expression in which the possibilities of every kind of lyrical language are taken to their logical conclusion and ... even two steps further. An emotional extremism is added to this which is coloured or even increased by the subject's ironic distance to himself and to the events which he is presenting, and to the world in which they are occurring. This is a disquieting poetry, which has caused much perturbation in Polish literary critical discourse.
