27th Paris Book FairThe Book Institute will take part, for the fifth time, in the 27 Paris Book Fair, 23–27 March. This year’s guest of honour is India. Transatlantic Prize 2007The Book Institute invites individuals and institutions to nominate candidates for the annual Transatlantic Prize, presented this year for the third time. The Transatlantic Prize is awarded by the Book Institute to outstanding ambassador of Polish literature abroad. Its aim is to promote Polish literature on the world market and to provide a focal point for translators of Polish literature and its promoters (literary critics, scholars and organizers of cultural events). more »
