Poland's answer to Almodovar

Michał Witkowski will be meeting his readers on August 24th Dublin, where he will be promoting his novel "Lovetown," published by Portobello Books and translated by William Martin. The meeting will take place at the EU House at Dawson Street 18 D2. The organizers are calling it: “Poland's answer to Almodovar.”

Miłosz Biedrzycki in residence at International Writing Program

With this residency, the Polish Cultural Institute revives a long tradition of participation of Polish authors in the prestigious International Writing Program at the University of Iowa. As a part of his residency at the University of Iowa, Biedrzycki will participate in readings and panels with other International Writing Program writers.
