| Czesław Miłosz: The Poet’s Exile The Polish Institute and the Program Department of Mishkenot Sha’ananim invite you to the conference “Czesław Miłosz: The Poet’s Exile”, as part of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Czesław Miłosz.
The conference will focus on significant issues of Israeli culture, including language and identity, the creator vs. the government, and others. The event will include also a poetic biography of Miłosz and his poems from the World War II period. Among the participants Dr. David Weinfeld, Polish poetry translator and literature scholar, Dr. Irena Grudzińska-Gross, historian of Polish literature, Roni Sommeck, Prof. Nissim Kalderon, Dr. Tzvia Greenfeld, Uda Basharat, Yael Neeman and others. Moderators the various seats: Benny Hendel, Shiri Lev-Ari and Merav Michaeli.
