Summary of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage’s literary programs for 2026

We have announced the creators and publishers of children's books for ages 7-9 that will be released as part of the ‘The Little Book – Great Person’ programme.

The results of the call for the Book Discussion Clubs grant programme for 2026 have been announced. As part of this program, 18 voivodeship libraries will receive funding to support the operation of Book Discussion Clubs. The total amount of grants awarded this year is 2,500,000 PLN.

As the end of the year approaches and the completion of projects funded by the Minister under the Magazines, Literature, Partnership for the book, and Promotion of Reading programmes, the Book Institute reminds the Beneficiaries of their obligations arising from the provisions of the agreement.

The Book Institute received a total of 79 submissions, of which 67 were formally correct. In the review process, 18 libraries qualified for funding.

On November 4-5, 2025, the conference titled ‘Modern Libraries – Age Without Barriers’ will take place at the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków. The event is organized by the Book Institute as part of the National Reading Development Programme 2.0. Those who cannot attend in person are warmly invited to watch the conference online.

On October 30th of this year, the application process for the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Programs was announced. The application period will last until December 1st of this year, and its launch in the SOP system will take place soon.
