Announcement of the selection of publishers’ submissions to the ©POLAND Translation Program in 2024

The results apply to publishing proposals submitted by 30 June 2025. In accordance with the regulations, priority was given to Romance and Scandinavian languages ​​in the second call for proposals. The list of proposals that received support under the Program can be found at the bottom of the page.

We invite you to apply to participate in the Polish collective booth organized by the Book Institute at the Bologna International Book Fair, which will take place from April 13-16, 2026.

The Book Institute has selected additional publications to receive funding from the Other Traditions programme. Of the 47 proposals submitted by publishers in August, 25 were accepted. A total of sixteen publishers will receive funding totaling over PLN 520,000.

The results of the recruitment for the small publishers’ stand at the International Book Fair in Krakow, October 23-26, 2025, have been announced! The collective stand for small publishers is a joint initiative of the Book Institute and the Polish Chamber of Books (Polska Izba Książki).

We are pleased to announce that as part of the upcoming 53rd edition of the Angoulême International Comics Festival (January 28 – February 1, 2026), the Book Institute will be organizing a Polish rights sales stand.

The Book Institute has selected subsequent publications for funding from the ‘Other Traditions’ programme. Of the 40 proposals submitted by publishers in July, 14 were accepted.
