Meeting About the Anthology of Halina Poświatowska’s Poems in Madrid
The anthology contains sixty-one poems—a small but representative selection of the author’s work—exploring the boundaries of body and language, solitude, and desire, revealing a poet with an astonishing ability for introspection and observation of the surrounding reality from a deeply feminist perspective.
Published in Spain by Báltica Editorial, Mi sombra es mujer was translated by José M. Faraldo and Xavier Farré. The translation was supported by the Book Institute under the ©Poland Translation Programme.
