Mikołaj Łoziński and Krystyna Dąbrowska at the Ognisko Polskie Literary Festival in London
Ognisko Polskie (Polish Hearth) is a Polish community club in London, founded in 1939 after the outbreak of World War II. The institution supports Polish cultural life in the capital of England and organizes a range of events, including the Literary Festival.
At this year’s edition of the event, in addition to Krystyna Dąbrowska and Mikołaj Łoziński, notable historians Halik Kochanski, Simon Rees and Anthony Polonski took part, as well as Zuza Zak, the author of cookbooks popular in the United Kingdom.
The event attracted a large number of readers. The organizers are already planning the next edition for next year.
