‘The Little Book – Great Person’: Second edition of the competition for publishers.

As part of the Children's Program, workshops related to this year’s reading kit for preschool children will take place. Young readers will get to know ‘Bobuś,’ ‘Welcoming Summer,’ and ‘Rita and the Horse.’

On Wednesday, October 15, the 77th Frankfurt Book Fair — the most important publishing industry event in the world — opens in Frankfurt am Main. Poland will be present at the Fair for the 25th time — it was exactly a quarter of a century ago that the history of the Polish Book Institute began, which has once again prepared the Polish national stand this year.

On October 23, 2025, a nationwide conference will be held for moderators, coordinators, and others involved in the activities of Book Discussion Clubs. This event will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, reflect deeply on the state of book clubs in Poland, and collaboratively seek new forms of action in the dynamically changing socio-cultural reality.

This Autumn, we're embarking on a literary journey with a series of guides for our first members – ‘Little Book on the Road.’ The spring edition of the project was met with great attention and consideration from both children and adults – caregivers, parents, teachers, and librarians.

The Golden Rose 2025 Award was presented to the book ‘Henryk Arctowski. In the World of Thought’ (Henryk Arctowski. W świecie myśli; Bosz Publishing House) by Dagmara Bożek and Katarzyna Dąbkowska. The award is presented by the Science Festival and the monthly Nowe Książki magazine.
