About program
As part of this cyclical event, the Book Institute presents the most interesting phenomena on the Polish publishing market to guests from around the world.
The Book Institute’s task is, in part, to promote Polish literature abroad. We make every effort to help books by Polish authors appear in other languages, to cross cultural borders. We have plenty of tools to make this aim a reality. One is the Publishers’ Seminar, to which we invite representatives of foreign publishing houses to get acquainted with the books Poland has on offer. The exchange is bilateral: our guests get information on Polish literature, we collect information on foreign publishing trends.
