Recruitment for the 2026 Translators’ Collegium is now open

We will once again be awarding the Anders Bodegård Scholarship, intended for translators specializing in translating Polish literature into Swedish or French.
The Translators’ College aims to support work on the translation of Polish works, integrate the translator community, enhance their professional skills, and promote Polish literature worldwide.
A stay in Krakow or Warsaw provides the opportunity to work intensively on translation in a favorable environment, as well as to establish contacts with the Polish literary community and participate in cultural events.
The Book Institute provides participants with:
- accommodation in apartments in Krakow or Warsaw,
- travel expenses covered (as per the regulations),
- pocket money of PLN 100 gross per day,
- substantive and organizational support.
