Applications for the Albrecht Lempp Scholarship for 2026 are open

The Book Institute has decided to withdraw from participating in the Angoulême International Comics Festival.

Tomorrow, on November 29, will begin the largest book fair in the world after the Frankfurter Buchmesse, the Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara. The Book Institute has prepared a Polish programme in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Mexico.

Grzegorz Musiał, the author of the novel ‘Ja, Tamara,’ visited Hungary on November 7-8, 2025. The initiative was partnered with the Book Institute as part of the ‘Non Stop – Polish Literature Abroad’ programme. The novel was published last year in a translation by Zsuzsa Mihályi, released by the Kiado publishing house with the support of our ©Poland Translation Programme.

From November 14 to 16, 2025, the China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) will take place, the largest children's book fair in China and one of the most important industry events in Asia.

We invite publishers and agents to take part in the Polish collective stand organized by the Book Institute at the International Book Fair in London, taking place from March 10-12, 2026.

In November, two Polish authors will visit Spain. Events featuring Joanna Kuciel-Frydryszak and Szymon Opryszek are organized by the Polish Institute in Madrid with the support of the Book Institute.
