“Cyberpunk 2077: No_Coincidence” by Rafał Kosik with the Galaxy Award

Rafał Kosik’s book “Cyberpunk_2077: No Coincidence” was named one of the two best foreign books as part of the Galaxy Award. The winners were announced during the Southern China Book Fair in Guangzhou.

The Galaxy Award is one of the most prestigious science fiction book polls in China. Winners are chosen by a jury together with readers who vote in the poll. The Galaxy Awards have been presented since 1986.

Rafał Kosik visited the Chinese event for the second time; last year he took part in the Southern China Book Fair as a special guest.

The book “Cyberpunk 2077: No_Coincidence” had its international premiere in August 2023. It was published simultaneously in Poland (Powergraph), the USA (Orbit US, Hachette) and the United Kingdom (Orbit UK, Hachette). So far “Cyberpunk 2077: No Coincidence” has been translated into several languages, including Mandarin (Simplified Chinese), Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, German and Hungarian. The book was created in collaboration with the Polish studio CD PROJEKT RED.

Rafał Kosik is a writer, publicist and screenwriter. His body of work includes more than 30 books, which have sold nearly 1.8 million copies. He is the recipient of many of the most prestigious awards, including the Janusz A. Zajdel Award, the Nowa Fantastyka Award and the Book of the Year contest of the Polish Section of IBBY. His other books have been translated into English, Czech, Lithuanian, Hungarian and Ukrainian.

Poland at the Turin International Book Fair

Today the International Book Fair in Turin, the Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, begins. This is the thirty-eighth edition of the event and the fourth one where you can visit the Polish stand, prepared by the Polish Book Institute in cooperation with the Polish Institute in Rome.
