The Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, the Book Institute and the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin have selected the winners of the Albrecht Lempp Scholarship for 2026. They are Ishbel Szatrawska and Rainer Merkel.

The newsletter is sent quarterly to translators of Polish literature around the world. It contains the most interesting recent publishing releases that may attract the interest of foreign readers.

The Leipziger Buchmesse and the accompanying Leipzig Liest festival have concluded. Both events attracted a record number of visitors – this year 313,000 readers took part. The Polish stand was organised by the Polish Book Institute in cooperation with the Leipzig branch of the Polish Institute in Berlin.

Aleksandra Majdzińska will take part in three events in Spain to promote the Spanish edition of 'Szalom bonjour Odessa'. The tour, held with the support of the Book Institute, is organized primarily by the Polish Institute in Madrid.

The Leipziger Buchmesse and the accompanying multi-day festival Leipzig Liest are starting. The fair will run from March 19 to 22. The Polish stand was organized by the Book Institute in cooperation with the Leipzig branch of the Polish Institute in Berlin.

The first issue of ‘Odra’ was published in March 1961, which means the Wrocław monthly is celebrating its 65th anniversary. The third issue of this year therefore has a special, jubilee character.
